Indirect Sales Analyst

As part of the Belux Commercial Operations department, you will sit within the Coverage Planning, Data & Technology team and report to the Data Manager. You will be responsible for the collection, processing and reporting of the indirect sales data received from wholesalers and be the single point of contact for the commercial team on indirect sales data.

 

In close collaboration with the sales & commercial teams and other departments (Data & Analytics, Master Data, IT) your main missions will be:

  1. Define and implement processes to facilitate the collection and processing of any indirect sales data and customer’s selling-out data.
  2. Follow up of the data sharing process with wholesalers including format and frequency; monitor Cegeka matching performance, understand all current Tableau reporting and work with Reporting Analyst on future needs, perform validation checks prior to publishing of Tableau reports.
  3. Identify needs for business review support analyses and reports, manage the development of the required  analyses and reports in collaboration with the reporting team, support the sales and commercial teams in the preparation of the business reviews with ad hoc analyses.
  4. Owner of the data mailbox, work on SLA, define matching rules (products and accounts), prioritize outlet matching, best practice sharing from sales team, contact with ERP partners of the wholesalers.

 

     

    To be successful in this role you need

    • 1-3 years in a similar function (reporting analyst, business analyst, financial analyst…).
    • A strong analytical mindset and attention for detail.
    • Comfortable working with Microsoft Excel, Tableau/PowerBi, and Alteryx.
    • Communication: ability to deliver high-impact and concise verbal and written communication, power to convince.
    • Ability to plan and work independently, under tight deadlines.
    • Strong team player: pro-active, ability to connect, positive mind-set, high energy, ‘can-do’ attitude, flexibility and integrity.
    • Fluency in Dutch and French and an excellent knowledge of English are required.
