What you become a part of

Joining the Wholesale Field Sales Team offers you the opportunity to lead, motivate and build dynamic careers paths for a team of Wholesale Professionals. Your team are responsible for the following key areas:

  • Deliver exceptional outlet execution in our Wholesale outlets from traditional Cash and Carry to Delivered and on line only wholesalers
  • Account management of a portfolio of buying group and independent Wholesale accounts
  • Unlocking new businesses opportunities across Wholesalers, onboarding new routes to market

What to expect

  • A fast paced multiple channel environment which is constantly evolving
  • Requirement for an extensive internal and external contact strategy with buying group and national account customers
  • Significant collaboration with your OOH, new business and HEWL field sales and wholesale channel colleagues to drive an aligned approach with customers
  • To attract, develop and retain talent, driving an empowered performance culture within your team, as well as finding a balance between vision, support, and challenge across the team.
  • The coaching and development of individuals to achieve their individual annual IPOs
  • Complete and monitor performance appraisals, performance development plans and talent development reviews
  • Create a positive and inspiring working environment for the team, taking accountability for growing the teams engagement score
  • Lead the team to deliver the agreed Wholesale business unit targets by interpreting and activating channel plans
  • Drive the team to set and deliver smart objectives for each customer in an efficient and productive way
  • To support in the commercial construct and implementation of national trading terms and joint business plans
  • Proactively Identify and implement improvements in our ways of working to support and drive the team culture of continual improvement
  • Encouraging wholesaler collaboration with our customers and our channel colleagues through targeted initiatives
  • Driving total territory ownership through your key territory customers  delivering volume and Revenue numbers across your territory.

What we expect of you

You must demonstrate the ability to lead and inspire, drive results through a team and create a culture of accountability. You will have previous people and some account management experience and exhibit evidence of influencing senior stakeholders.
